Trying to use AI for your marketing but spending more time fixing it than if you'd just done it yourself?
Turns out, even the big brands with entire creative teams are stuck in the same place. A new study found that 92% of marketers are excited about AI, but only one-third actually use it regularly. Here's why: most people are trying to squeeze AI into their existing workflow when what actually works is flipping the process — designing your workflow around what AI does best.
The small businesses seeing real results (like cutting content production time by 30-40%) aren't using fancier tools than you. They're just using a clearer system. Here's how to build one, and click here for our full insights.

How YOU can stand out when everyone is using the same AI tools
AI can write 1,000 words in under a minute. But here's what it can't do: It can't write you.
And that's exactly where your competitive edge lives.
The Problem: Everyone's using AI to crank out content. The result? A sea of perfectly optimized posts that all sound the same. "Excited to share insights on leveraging synergies!" (Insert eye roll.)
The Solution: Use AI for speed, then add the one ingredient it can't replicate: your humanity. Here's Your Action Plan (Use This Before You Publish Anything)
The Human Touch Test: Before you hit publish, run your content through these 4 questions:
✅ Story: Is there a narrative that draws people in? (Even a tiny one counts)
✅ Personality: Does this sound like YOU, or like everyone else?
✅ Value: What's the "so what" that actually matters to your audience?
✅ Connection: Will this make someone feel less alone in their business journey?
If you can't say yes to at least 2 of these, your content needs more human.
The Bottom Line: Let AI handle the heavy lifting (drafts, research, ideas), then layer in what makes people actually care, your experience, your humor, your perspective. That's what turns scrollers into followers, and followers into customers.
Perfection is overrated. Slightly imperfect + very human will win every time. Speling errors and all!
